25-27Nov16 - Christmas in Derby

Well, this year the 'do' was held at the Hallmark Mickleover Court in Derby. 6 of us travelled up on the Friday for a hot & cold buffet whilst catching up with friends. Saturday we split into boys & girls..! Girls went off into Ashbourne for the day for some good old shopping around a beautiful village, whilst the boys went off to Glossop and Matlock. I think the girls had it easy as we didnt have to push Dave around in a wheelchair!! Back at the hotel for a late lunch and some well earned rest in the spa. Boys turned up for a quick drink and then we all departed to our rooms to don our gladrags for the evening dinner dance. A great evening of food and music before eventually retiring. After a hearty breakfast, it was time to head home.
