Gavins Ride Out

Only Colin turned up to accompany Gavin on his ride out to Wales. Undeterred, our dynamic duo set off down the M4 for breakfast at the Masons Arms in Rudgeway.

Over the old Severn Bridge, which was a bit gusty, and onto the A466 for some nice twisty bits. A quick stop for petrol along the A40 in Abergavenny and on to Llandovery for a stop at the Owls Nest.

After scoffing some cake and throwing around some Welsh insults it was time for some serious riding, over the Black Mountains. Up and down over the Brecons a few times and a stop at Asda near Pant for a brew.

Next it was off to Talybont on Usk on some single track roads with a few hairpins, and over the hills towards Llangynidr for a few more hairpins.

After passing through Usk it was time for a coffee at Magor before heading home along the M4.
