Hendon - October 2010

A brave bunch of consisting of Worzel, David & Diane, Dave, & Gavin who were prepared to ride into the little village called London, met at the usual starting point for a cross country ride to the RAF Museum at Hendon.
All went fine on the ride in until coming off the North Circular onto the slip road onto the A5, where Worzel realized that his Pan would not fit down between the two narrow lanes of traffic slowly moving towards Brent Cross Shopping Centre - sorry lads!
Once there, we all fitted into the Motorcycle Parking bay, so that saved some pennies, then once inside the first hall, we were all amazed at the place and the displays.  The second hall, much larger than the first, was even more impressive.
After well over an hour of looking at the exhibits, it was decided to make tracks for the cafe, now there's a surprise!!!! Whilst they were taking part in testing the coffee and cakes, low and behold, Alan appeared, now how did he know where to find us?????
After looking round the 2nd hall, it was then decided to go in to the main restaurant, where Gavin had a very authentic Sunday Lunch.  Authentic as it looked and tasted as if it was cooked during the 2nd World War.......!!!!!
Once all fed and watered again, they all went into the Battle Of Britain exhibition, and watched the light and sound show too.
All in all, a great day, where all were surprised at the length of time they were there - leaving at 4pm - and how much they enjoyed the museum.
