Portsdown Day Out 01.08.10

Steve & Hazel lead a ride-out to Portsdown with 6 bikes carrying 7 people, leaving our usual starting point and heading for our first stop at Loomies cafe for breakfast (Gavin burger #1).  From here we rode to New Alresford.  Off then via Meon Valley and Wickham to Portsdown Hill View Point for one of Micks Monster Burgers (Gavin burger #2)!  Next stop - Fort Nelson and no trip here would be complete without a visit to the Royal Armoury Museum - very interesting.  Lunch was very enjoyable before heading off, via Chichester, Lavant and South Harting to Petersfield Services for re-fuelling, oh and McDonalds for those still hungry (Gavin #3)!  From these services it was a nice trundle back to the Swan in Reading via A272, A32, Alton and Basingstoke.  All in all a great day out - without losing anyone!  How many in a row are we up to without any lost bods?????
